Big, bold header written with Bauhaus 93 web font Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. I have been given a small web project for an ecommerce store. The logo uses Bauhaus 93 and I am struggling to find good fonts to pair with this. Image borrowed from Identifont. Particularly I would prefer to only use Bauhaus for the logo and another 1-2 fonts for headings and body text. Can anyone recommend some nice fonts to match Bauhau 93?

The Bauhaustypeface design is based on Herbert Bayer's 1925 experimental Universal typeface and the Bauhaus aesthetic overall.
Blippo[edit]
Blippo was designed by Joe Taylor for Fotostar in 1969 as a black version of Burko Bold, which, in turn, is based on the unfinished design by the German Bauhaus school. The font was named Blippo Black by Taylor's boss, Robert Trogman.[1] It retains proportion and fit of ITC Ronda.

Bauhaus 93 Font History
Bauhaus 93 is a variant of URW Blippo Black. Only one font was produced. It is used in Microsoft Word, and is also used for the Postman Pat logo, around Disney's Polynesian Resort, and on the title screens for Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 2, as well as the Amiibo logo. Also used on Xinwen Lianbo in 1996 and Chuzzle.[citation needed]
ITC Ronda[edit]
It was designed by Herb Lubalin in 1970. It adds lowercase letters to the family.
Distinguishing characteristics include the shapes of the upper right third of the capital B, P and R, as well as the half-circle form of the descender of the Q. ITC Ronda is similar to Michael Neugebauer's 'Litera'; both fonts display styles characteristic of the Bauhaus work.
ITC Bauhaus[edit]
ITC Bauhaus was designed by Ed Benguiat and Victor Caruso in 1975. Inheriting the simple geometric shapes and monotone stroke weights of Herbert Bayer's universal, it includes separate upper and lower case characters. Five weights of Roman fonts were made for this family. Unlike the earlier ITC Ronda, it includes open end stroke at places where counters would be created.

Bauhaus Heavy was originally intended to be a display-only design and was accompanied by Bauhaus Outline. With the advent of digital technology, the Outline version was dropped from the family, while the Bauhaus Heavy was made part of the now text/display offering.
Under Adobe's development, the font family supports the ISO-Adobe character set for the PostScript version. In OpenType Std version, it supports the Adobe Western 2 character set.
Monotype also produced versions that include Cyrillic or Central European characters.
The font was also named 'Geometric 752' by Bitstream, 'BH' by Itek.

Bauhaus 93 is a typeface originally owned by font foundry, URW, which stood for Unternehmensberatung Rubow Weber, representing the names of the foundry’s founders. It is now owned by URW++, the successor of the original company. Although there are many other versions of Bauhaus available, we are exploring Bauhaus 93 since this is the version included in many versions of Microsoft Office.
You can see Bauhaus 93 used in the slide shown in Figure 1, below.

Bauhaus was influenced by an art movement of the same name that was founded in Germany in 1919. The Bauhaus school preferred the simplicity of functionality and form. This thought can be clearly seen in the design of the font of the same name.
Microsoft decided to bundle Bauhaus 93, a variation of this font family as part of Microsoft Office. This bundling meant that almost anyone could use this font in their documents or presentations. Beyond Microsoft’s offering, Bauhaus is also available as a complete typeface family from ITC.
